GYMNASTICS TRAINING COURSES & CURRICULUM
THE NATIONAL GYMNASTICS CURRICULUM IS A GYMNASTICS TRAINING COURSE PROVIDING UNIFORMED EDUCATION TO INSTILL CERTAIN PHILOSOPHIES, PRINCIPLES, STANDARD GYMNASTICS ETIQUETTE, AND GENERAL CURRICULUM. THE COURSE FOCUSES ON THE POSITIVE APPROACH PHILOSOPHY AND CONSISTS OF CURRICULUM RANGING FROM RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS TO ELITE GYMNASTICS. COACHES GO THROUGH A VARIETY OF ENGAGING TRAINING COURSES THAT INCLUDES PRACTICAL APPLICATION AND LECTURE SESSIONS.
THIS PROGRAM WAS DESIGNED TO BE USED AS AUXILLARY EDUCATION TO STANDARD USAG EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL. THE NATIONAL GYMNASTICS CURRICULUM WAS CREATED IN COLLABORATION WITH SOME OF THE COUNTRY’S MOST RENOWNED GYMNASTS AND COACHES.
Coaches Lecture Training
Coaches at your club are provided with online training modules to learn everything from the sports history, recreational coaching, competitive coaching, ethics, character, and mentoring. Training videos are high production media, with gamified modules and quizzes, to provide an effective learning tool establishing a firm foundation in coaching gymnastics. Your coaches will begin a journey through the sport, educating themselves from the etymology of the word gymnastics, to the secrets of unleashing elite level gymnasts.
Coaches Practical Training
After Lecture Training, which teaches coaching foundation, coaches will then be provided with a Practical Training course. Practical Training consistof skill progressions, skill techniques, spotting methods, and safety precautions, which coaches can then implement instantly in their classes. Practical applications begin at recreational gymnastics, and endswith elite level training. Courses are led by some of the best coaches in the world through natural dialogue in a real-time setting.
Monthly Webinars Led By NGC Professionals
NGC professionals will receive the opportunity to join in on monthly webinars for with NGC coaching experts. These webinars will be provided to help coaches focus on new techniques, progress problem solving, and perfecting NGC methodologies. Sessions are scheduled once a month, and any NGC professional is welcomed to join at no additional cost.
The National Gymnastics Curriculum pushes the initiative for Positive Approach Gymnastics, where negative reinforcement techniques are erased. It is imperative that the sport focuses on empowering gymnasts through encouragement and mentorship, not thorough fear tactics, consequence training, and victimhood mentalities. NGC promotes training for real gymnastics at its highest caliber, and it’s been proven across all sports that positive feedback and positive reinforcement leads to greater success at a faster rate.

Nicholas Kosteski is the lead coach of the men's gymnastics program at Gymnastics USA in Winter Garden. In addition to competitive coaching, he is also the director of education for the largest recreational program in the state of Florida, training dozens of recreational coaching staff to be able to coach at a high level.
